So it was either extreme clipping and work with arms, or work with arms but look a bit weird.
It may work nicely in ts4, but as we all know, ts3 doesn’t have the same bone system, and that sucks. I tried making it work with them, but it wasn’t worth all the extreme clipping that was happening because of it. The capes in all the kids and toddler coats are “paralyzed”, they don’t move with the sim’s arms.I tried fixing it multiple times, and this is my best try. The sleeves on the robes for toddlers will clip with the extra fabric around them on some animations, especially when the sim moves their arms up.It may look really bad in some animations, but this is the best I could do, and apparently it is an issue in ts4 as well! Sorry! The stripes in the victorian nightgown for kids (light blue and white) look distorted when the sim is spreading their legs.I’m not really sure why this happens, but I tried my best with some manual bone assignment, and this is my best result! It should look fine with poses where the sim is standing up with their legs close to each other! Sorry! Some buttons in the 1848 velvet dress’ (deep blue one) may look crooked if compared to other buttons on it.You can find part one here and part two here!
